A Dragonfly Wish is more than a project; it’s a lasting tribute, a legacy. It allows grieving parents to memorialize their child through tangible, community‑driven projects. From scholarships, memorial spaces, clinics, bike racks, and schools to whatever reflects the child’s heart and the community’s needs. Drawing from our co‑founder Mona’s journey after losing her son Isaiah, Dragonfly Wishes offer grieving hearts permission to re‑enter life, accept love, and transform sorrow into impact.

• We work with you to develop your Dragonfly Wish: exploring your child’s passions, identifying community needs, and creating a project that serves and honors.

• You’ll receive support in planning, fundraising, partner identification, and storytelling so that the project becomes both a legacy and a healing journey.

• Your child’s name will be the heart of the project. Each wish is lovingly created to honor your child’s memory. We will ensure their light continues to shine through every act of service, kindness, and connection. 

• We’ll stay connected as your project grows. La Luz De Isaiah offers gentle, quarterly check-ins to help families remain close to their child’s memorial. Our mission is to guide grieving parents in their healing journey, from sorrow to impact.

As part of our commitment to each family: 

• We provide the first $5,000 to help launch your fundraising efforts. We see fundraising as more than a financial necessity; it’s a meaningful extension of love and community. Through La Luz, families don’t do it alone. Together, we make each Dragonfly Wish not only possible, but deeply personal. Every dollar raised carries a ripple of kindness, compassion, and love. 

• We walk beside you in your healing journey. From planning, fundraising, partner-identification, and storytelling, to building a legacy that serves and honors your child.  

• Our mission extends beyond completing a project, we’re committed to supporting your healing.  We offer quarterly communications with families and communities to help maintain a heartfelt connection to each child’s legacy.

• Fill out the Dragonfly Wishes Submission Form, sharing: your child’s info, your project idea, potential timeline & budget, dedication message.

• We’ll connect with you and turn your vision of tribute into meaningful action.

There is no fixed minimum. Each project is unique. What matters is meaningful alignment — both to your child’s memory and to a community that needs it.

Yes. We encourage ongoing relationships. You may visit, receive updates, share stories, or even engage volunteers. Our goal: the wish becomes a living tribute, not a one‑time gesture.
