Our Story Of Hope
La Luz De Isaiah was inspired by Mona Nieto and the cherished memory of her son, Isaiah. To honor his legacy, Mona embarked on a mission to raise funds for the Footsteps Mission Orphanage’s medical and dental clinic in Honduras. This initiative provided her community with a meaningful way to support her during a time when words alone could not suffice. Through the outpouring of love and encouragement from those who wanted to see her wish fulfilled, the first Dragonfly Wish came to life: the successful completion of the much-needed clinic.
Using this experience as a blueprint for future initiatives, Mona, along with Co-Founder Jessica Juliao founded La Luz De Isaiah. This purpose-driven non-profit organization aims to create similar opportunities for other grieving parents. Each Dragonfly Wish is chosen to serve communities and families while channeling loss into a legacy of love in their child's memory.
